UNIT TRUST OF SAMOA DECLARES DIVIDEND FOR FINANCIAL YEAR ENDING 30TH JUNE 2025
The Unit Trust of Samoa (Trust) is pleased to announce a dividend payment of 0.08 sene per unit to its unitholders for the financial year ending 30th June 2025. This annual dividend distribution is a testament to the Trust’s dedication to deliver sustainable returns to its unitholders.
The total dividend to be distributed amounts to SAT$10.90million, benefitting total of over 6,800 unitholders based on their unit balance as of the 30th June 2025.
The dividend distribution of 0.08sene per unit is equivalent to a dividend yield of 4.06%. The Trust also recorded a unit value capital gain of 9.44% over the 12month period. Collectively, the dividend yield and capital gain represent a total return of 13.50% for the financial year 2024/2025; a 1.26% increase compared to the prior year.
Eligible unitholders will be able to make their dividend choice from Friday 11th July 2025. The dividend choice process can be facilitated at the main office at Level 3, Development Bank of Samoa Building or via the UTOS online platform (https://app.utos.ws/).
